Please join us for an economical AND wonderful afternoon excursion from Santa Barbara to San Luis Obispo and return. Departing on selected dates, we're looking forward to beautiful coastal scenery (as viewed from our large picture windows!), delightful company with like minded travelers and even complimentary snacks and sodas! Amtrak's train #799 will pull us north, while train #792 pulls us south. Our train leaves Santa Barbara at 10:15 am Train arrives San Luis Obispo at 12:45 pm You have a brief layover in San Luis Obispo ... just enough time to visit a nearby Deli for a delicious lunch or ... bring your own picnic. (We ask that all detrain at SLO during the layover so we can clean the car) Our train then leaves SLO at 2:00pm Train arrives Santa Barbara at 4:31pm YOUR FARE: $59.00 per person, roundtrip!
